With over 40 years of experience, we have successfully completed hundreds of projects across Australia & New Zealand. Our focus is on getting it right the first time on time, within budget and at the highest standards.

Our History
From humble beginnings Speedy commenced in the mid 1970’s (Speedy Property Maintenance Pty Ltd) and was born out of necessity paying off a modest mortgage requiring additional monthly funds to meet commitments. Newly married with a young family, times were tough and therefore I started accepting gardening and maintenance jobs part time. The name Speedy was given by many satisfied clients who noted that I was quick, clean and more cost effective than my competitors, so the word became synonymous with future growth.
The part time venture quickly grew into larger projects and I was given the opportunity in 1985 by Killen and Thomas Real Estate to maintain and modify office fit outs in Melbourne. We then changed to Speedy Development Group Pty Ltd and obtained a Commercial Builders Unlimited Licence still current today.
Today Speedy Development Group has grown into a full-service design & construct business, always evolving with the needs of changing times and technology. We pride ourselves in giving back, we integrate social benefit suppliers into our supply chain as well as creating employment pathways for disadvantaged cohorts.

Speedy Development Group has completed projects Australia Wide and New Zealand since 1985 .We have always focused on getting the “basics right” and can say that we have a 97.6 % success rate on completion of projects on time and on budget. In addition, 87% of all projects completed on time and under budget, a remarkable effort by our dedicated family at Speedy Development Group.
